Pug Halloween Costume Do's and Dont's

Halloween is an enchanting day where even pugs can join in the fun. Despite the festivities of the day, keeping a canine safe is mission critical. Use the following safety precautions to assure the safety of your pug:

Rhodesian ridgebacks have an actual ridge along the top of their backs. The ridge is made up of forward-growing hairs. This ridge gives the rhodesian ridgeback a unique and easily recognizable look.

If your pug must wear a costume, use the following tips in its Halloween attire:

The joys of motherhood struck with a vengeance when, in 1984, a great dane became the third dog to join the record holders for largest litter. She had twenty-three puppies. Interestingly, each of the three dogs that hold the record are different breeds.

Opt for safe and annoying free costumes that allow for easy movement A costume should not inhibit your pug's ability to breathe and bark The costume should not obstructs his or her vision Dogs should never be left without supervision in a costume

The bichon frise breed is quite old. Originally they used to belong only to kings and queens. However, eventually they became known for their abilty to learn tricks and for their excellent sense of balance. As a result, they gained a reputation for being excellent as circus dogs.

Always monitor your pug for bitten pieces of the costume that may trigger choking (in example: buttons, elastic, paper rubber bands, or other materials) Affix reflective tape onto pug's costume if you will be out after dark Never leave your pug unsupervised in a costume.

The Bloodhound doesn't need to smell blood to find someone who is lost. It is said that his name instead means blooded hound, or aristocratic. They actually track people because people leave a trail of skin cells with their own unique odor wherever they go.

As cute as the idea of taking your pug to trick or treat with the family may be, the event can trigger anxiety or fear. To avoid any potential negative encounters, keep a leash on him and be mindful of anything they try to eat during the Halloween stroll. To minimize any anxiety or fear in your pug, keep pets away of boisterous children and walk them before the Halloween festivities get underway

Chinese Crested dogs are often considered to be so ugly that they are cute. They often win ugly dog contests. They are odd looking, mostly hairless dogs. They are also the only breed of dog that is capable of getting acne.

The most socially oriented pugs may not be ready for the entourage of children during trick-or-treating hours. To prevent any unforeseen situations, keep your pug in a separate room. For starters, the rampant traffic of strangers may overwhelm a pug. Not to mention, some children are afraid of DOGS and other pets. Finally, if your pug breaks free, make sure he or she is wearing a collar with an ID tag or other proper identification.

Yorkshire terriers are very tenacious. In fact, A 12-pound Yorkshire Terrier named Oliver once defended an elderly woman from an 80-pound Akita. The woman escaped to safety and Oliver the yorkie survived with only nine stitches.
