Should I Take My Pug to Obedience Classes?

Whether or not you should take your pug to an obedience class depends greatly on you and on your pug. Before you decide, there are a few things you should know.

Rhodesian ridgebacks have an actual ridge along the top of their backs. The ridge is made up of forward-growing hairs. This ridge gives the rhodesian ridgeback a unique and easily recognizable look.

First, there are many differences between a pug obedience class instructor and a pug trainer. A pug trainer is a person who is trained to teach your pug to do certain specific things in a one-on-one situation. An obedience class instructor, on the other hand, is a person who specializes in teaching you how to better train your own pug to do whatever you want it to do.

While many people think of Boxers as aggressive, they are actually great with children. They were bred to be hunters, yes, but they were bred to corner prey, not kill it. As a result, they are protective, yet patient.

Another important thing that you should keep in mind about pug obedience class is that there will be several DOGS and owners there. You and your pug will get an opportunity to socialize and learn from others. However, you will not get as much one-on-one attention as you would if a pug trainer came to your home.

French poodles were originally used as hunting dogs, but, because their thick coats proved a problem in the bush and water, their owners started clipping them. They left hair on the ankles to protect against rheumatism, which is why poodles sometimes appear to have unusual haircuts.

If you do decide to take your pug to obedience classes, be sure to do some research first. There are a few things to consider. You'll want to find a class that is held on days and times that fit your schedule, first of all. Also, you may want to find a class that is specifically for pugs that are the same size or age as yours. A small pug might not benefit from a class where the other DOGS are larger, just as a large DOG may not benefit from a class full of small DOGS.

In the original 101 Dalmatians movie, Pongo has 72 spots, Perdita has 68 and each of the puppies has 32. Real dalmations have unique numbers and patterns of spots, almost like a human beigns fingerprint.

When you think you've found a class, meet with the instructor. Don't be afraid to ask questions and, if possible, observe a class or two before enrolling. You may also want to ask the instructor if your entire family is welcome in the class. If space permits, most good instructors will not only agree to that, they'll usually recommend it.

Yorkshire terriers are very tenacious. In fact, A 12-pound Yorkshire Terrier named Oliver once defended an elderly woman from an 80-pound Akita. The woman escaped to safety and Oliver the yorkie survived with only nine stitches.

By following these simple steps, you should be able to find an obedience class that both you and your pug can benefit from and enjoy.

Many people think that the kerry blue terrier is the national dog of Ireland. Actually, the Irish government never has given this designation to any breed. Michael Collins, one of Irelands most famous patriots, introduced legislation to elevate the Kerry Blue, or the Irish Blue Terrier as they were then called, to the national dog of Ireland. After his murder, the interest in the initiative was lost.
